CASABLANCA: AIBD on a mission to finalise the infrastructural design of the MRO steel structure hangar

Within the framework of the implementation of the project for the construction of an aeronautical maintenance centre (MRO) at AIBD, a mission went to Casablanca from 15 to 16 September 2021 for the finalisation of the infrastructural design of the steel structure Hangar of the said MRO as well as the visit of the industrial unit partner of AIBD SA.

This structure is 33 m high, 100 m long and has a span of 99 m. It will require the mobilisation of more than 1200 tons of steel and will be able to house up to four (4) Airbus A320 type aircraft.

The mission is headed by Mr. Maktar LAKH, Secretary General of MTTA, in his capacity as Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Air Hub. The delegation is composed of Mr. Doudou KA, Director General of AIBD SA and Chairman of the Air Hub Experts Committee, Mr. Sidy Gueye, Director General of ANACIM and Vice-Chairman of the Air Hub Technical Experts Committee, Mrs. Nafissatou Fall DIAGNE, Project Manager of the Air Hub Follow-up and MTTA Technical Adviser, Mrs. Aida Seck NDIAYE Executive Director of the Air Hub Management Unit, Mr. Mouhamed Gorel SOUMAREY, Director of the Air Hub Management Unit, Mr. M.
